This music magazine is also based on 'Hip Hop' and 'Dance', we know this because on the cover of this magazine is Example. The colours on the cover of this magazine are simple but the brightness of the text saying 'Example' makes it stand out and attract the reader.
The type of shot that is being used on this cover is another medium-close up and he also has his arms folded, i think that he is like this to interact with the reader, i also think having a medium close up is important because being close to him here could be meaning that you could maybe know more about him and his music and maybe become close to him by reading this magazine. By the seriousness on his face he clearly thinks that his music represents what he is like on this cover magazine.
I think that this magazine is aimed again to the younger generation of people because not many older people will like his style of music, so based on this it would definately be aimed at people aged between 15-25. This magazine has used dark colours in the background and this is too show the reader he is serious, but on the other hand the 'Example' text is in bright pink and this is too show that his music is enjoyable to listen to and fun. The text used is big and bold and this is again attract the reader to read the magazine. Having someone like Example on the cover of a magazine, who is a big popstar helps massively has he has a big following and people will read the magazine because they want to know what is going on with his music and also his life aswell.
